Getting the heat right

Your lamps shouldn’t crack just because you’re doing your job.
The nuts and bolts
We stick to high-purity quartz and halogen gas fills. Why? Because it stops the tungsten filament from evaporating too fast. It means your heat stays steady for thousands of hours instead of dipping after a few weeks. And we kept the connections simple. We use standard R7s or SK15 bases. We did this on purpose. You shouldn’t have to rip out your wiring or spend a weekend rebuilding your oven just to get a better heat source. You just pop the old one out, slide ours in, and get back to work.
The honest truth about high output
Shortwave lamps are fast. Really fast. But that kind of intensity puts a massive load on your machine’s chassis. If your cooling fans are old, dusty, or just plain clogged, all that ambient heat is going to eat your wiring alive over time. You can’t just upgrade the lamp; you’ve got to make sure your ventilation can actually handle the wattage. Look, we aren’t selling a magic wand.
