If you crank the heat too high, you&amp;rsquo;ll scorch the resin. Too low? The part won&amp;rsquo;t have the strength it needs to actually do its job.&#xA;For the MS JP7 setup, we use shortwave infrared (IR) lamps. The goal here is to get the heat deep into the fabric layers to trigger that rapid polymerization without frying the surface.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;The power side of things&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;We build these lamps to pack a lot of wattage into every linear millimeter. It’s intense. But that’s the point—it lets you knock curing times down from hours to just a few minutes.&#xA;One heads-up: you&amp;rsquo;ve got to match your voltage and wattage to your power supply exactly. If you don&amp;rsquo;t, you&amp;rsquo;re looking at a premature burnout. And since these high-density tubes put out a massive amount of heat, make sure your cooling fans and vents are up to the task. You don&amp;rsquo;t want your lamp housing warping because the airflow was an afterthought.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;The gear inside&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;We use high-purity quartz glass so the lamps don&amp;rsquo;t just crack when the temperature swings wildly.&#xA;Depending on what resin you&amp;rsquo;re running, we can add specific coatings to the tube. This basically tweaks the light spectrum so it hits the &amp;ldquo;sweet spot&amp;rdquo; of your composite material. Plus, we use standard connectors. That means these are drop-in replacements. You can wire them up and get back to work without having to rebuild your entire jig.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;Real-world shop talk&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;Whether it&amp;rsquo;s for a plane or a race car, the MS JP7 process needs a consistent heat footprint across the whole part. Our custom IR setup kills those annoying cold spots that usually lead to structural weak points.&#xA;But be careful. Shortwave IR is aggressive. You have to be spot-on with your distance and timing. Seriously—an extra ten seconds can be the difference between a perfect part and a ruined, expensive piece of carbon weave.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
